Designation: Associate QA Analyst
Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide Quality Assurance - Systems/Regression Testing across Thomson Reuters MIS Applications. This position is a part of a Global team of dedicated testers who will be ensuring the value and integrity of our systems .
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
o Analyse requirements and clarify the doubts on requirements with BAs oIdentification and documentation of test data requirements o Creates, maintains and executes test cases o Create test reports and report status and metrics to the lead/manager o Execution of multiple testing types such as systems - functional and integration and regression testing including writing test cases and/or test scripts as defined by the project/release o Through the course of testing, identifies and reports system bugs o Utilizes multiple systems to manage testing, including HP's Quality Center, TeamTrack, etc o Completes own work per defined schedules and quality expectations to satisfy project priorities with direction from lead/manager o Interacts frequently with manager, peers and core project team members o Upfront involvement with requirements definition and analysis to ensure a high level of understanding in order to assist in the creation, execution and maintenance of test cases
