Job Description:
The ITS organization seeks a high-energy, motivated individual who combines solid leadership and technical credentials with a results biased attitude for the position of Senior Technology Project Coordinator for Workplace and Shared Services Portfolio.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
Responsible for coordination and management of workplace and shared services solutions with technical engineers, project managers, program managers, etc.. Candidate will possess skills that relate to understanding project, program, and portfolio reporting. As well as change control reporting and financial aspects project management. Candidates will be required to work closely with program and portfolio manager for Workplace and Shared Services, as well as other senior management, to gain knowledge of THOMSON REUTERS business and project processes and priorities.
ESSENTIAL DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
o Provide task-level coordination for projects
o Work with internal/external functional teams in order to gather and document requirements.
o Negotiate delivery dates working with stakeholders and maintain communication with those stakeholders during the delivery stage of initiatives
o Ensure that relevant documentation is completed correctly and provide general administrative oversight for projects and pieces of work
o Schedule and facilitate meetings with technical resources and business unit partners
o Ensure that the execution of tasks comply with relevant departmental processes
o Work with stakeholders to identify and manage conflicting tasks and adjust priorities

Desired Profile:
EDUCATION:
BSc in Business Mgt, Computer Science, or related field. PMP highly desired.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
o Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills required
o Strong administrative and organizational skills required, as is a focused attention to detail
o A proven willingness to learn, a positive service attitude, and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand work environment
o 2-3 years experience working in a technical environment or with a technical organization required
o 1-2 years of project management or project coordination experience preferred
o Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
o Component-level, end to end understanding of data center operations preferred (Database mgmt, system mgmt, middleware, virtualization, etc.) and its relation to business processes.
o Specific technical subject matter expertise is an advantage, but is not required
o Microsoft SharePoint experience a plus
o Experience with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, and Visio is a requirement
o Ability to drive and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
